The ski area is also home to the Nishidateyama Giant Slalom, a recognized venue for the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics, providing a thrilling challenge for ski experts.

The ski resort is known for its varied terrain, ranging from gentle slopes suitable for beginners to medium-steep slopes that are best for intermediate and advanced skiers. The snow quality at the ski resort is generally good, with the high-speed quad lift ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride. The ski area is also known for its "lucky bell" located in front of the crane station, a reference to the bell-shaped slope that is gentle enough for beginners.

In addition to offering a spectacular view of the Northern Alps, the resort is also known for hosting slalom and giant slalom competitions during the ski season.
