“My family and I thoroughly enjoy our trips to Racines-Giovo. The ski area is spacious and welcoming, accommodating skiers of all skill levels, including beginners. A highlight is the 3.5 km sledding route into the valley, an exhilarating ride that we highly recommend. Sprinkled around the area are numerous cozy huts, perfect for when we needed a break or a quick bite to eat. The ski school and ski kindergarten are excellent facilities, staffed with friendly, German-speaking instructors who are always ready to help. The slopes are consistently well-maintained, and the lifts are reliable, ensuring smooth skiing experiences. We've had the pleasure of visiting Racines-Giovo three times and can't wait for our next trip back.”

“I've always admired Racines-Giovo as a family-friendly ski resort, providing a clear and safe environment where children can ski independently. However, I have noticed a shift away from this family-centric focus, particularly in their offerings for children. Previously, there was a children's ski special that ran for two weeks during the Easter holidays. Now, it's only available for the last week of the holiday. Additionally, the age group delineations have changed, making the vacation less accessible and family-friendly. While there are several hotels listed on the Ratschings website as participants in these specials, some of them don't offer the promised conditions. In my opinion, these hotels shouldn't be listed there. When exploring other ski areas as possible alternatives, I noticed that the ski pass prices for children here are quite high, especially when compared to other resorts. For example, a 6-day pass currently costs €194, which is even higher than the online price for Sölden. At Wilder Kaiser, my children can ski for free at Easter, and many other resorts give children more than 50% off adult passes. While I understand that costs are rising across the board, I think it's important for a ski resort to consider its future direction and the needs of its clientele.”
