“I visited Muttereralm on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised to find the experience quite smooth. There were two cash registers, although they were occasionally unmanned. However, this didn't pose any significant delays, as the ascent was quick even with the mountain cars. I would like to note that there was an instance of forestry work being performed, which prevented us from using the MountainCars. But the staff, especially the cashier, was very considerate. Upon learning that we only intended to pay for the uphill journey, they promptly inquired about our plans. Upon realizing that we wanted to ride the MountainCars, they kindly cancelled our purchase to prevent any disappointment. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated. I would also add that the wait time was minimal, no more than 10 minutes, and there was no need for a reservation. I found the overall experience at Muttereralm to be quite satisfactory.”

“My experience at Muttereralm was less than ideal. I was disappointed to find that the valley run was closed during my visit, which meant I had to utilize the gondola to descend within a two-hour time frame. This restriction unfortunately left no room for a leisurely pause at the hut. Given these constraints, I would personally recommend exploring other options.”

I was surprised to find that parking came with an additional charge, though I was able to bypass this due to my Innsbruck card. Unfortunately, I found the view from the window to be disappointing as it was obstructed by scratches and dirt. This struck me as unacceptable, especially considering the usual rates.”

“I had the pleasure of visiting the stunning Muttereralm, a true natural haven. It offers numerous hiking trails that provided a great connection with the outdoors. What stood out for me was the thrilling mountain cart descent; a unique 5km downhill route filled with exciting twists and turns. Additionally, the convenience of having my parking fees offset with the mountain railway use was a nice touch. I visited over the weekend and experienced no wait times, however, I would recommend making a reservation to ensure a smooth visit.”
