“I made a trip to Mt. Jeans Nasu since I learned that the white Goyo Azalea was in bloom. It appears that the optimal viewing period is downhill from the Gondola Summit Station to Chomeisui, especially as the good sunlight supports the flower's bloom, even though it's not an early bloomer. However, the Goyo Azalea Observation Deck course is yet to bloom, and it might require another week or more. While riding the gondola, one can spot that only three of them are colored, and it's quite a delightful experience if you get a chance to ride in one of them. It might even bring you some good luck! I visited on a weekday and there was no waiting time, plus reservations are not necessary.”

“I had a delightful experience at the compact Mt. Jeans Nasu ski resort. The ride up the gondola presented a spectacular view of pristine, smooth snow. It was a bustling day; I noticed the single-person lane for the gondola was missing. The relocation of the cherry tree to the mountaintop cafe added a charming touch. I must commend the bolognese served there - it was simply superb! Feeling tired, I treated myself to a Marion crepe. Their sweets are truly irresistible, especially the special that comes with ice cream. Although procuring a meal required waiting in line to hand over the meal ticket, and there was quite a crowd just before leaving, it was worth the wait. The food was so tasty that it understandably attracted a crowd.”

“I visited Mt. Jeans Nasu during the azalea season. Although the white azaleas were not as visible from the gondola, they were in full bloom and looked absolutely beautiful when I reached the top of the mountain. What I particularly enjoyed was that the venue is pet-friendly, allowing me to bring along my dog on the gondola. There is also a dog run at the top, along with multiple walking courses. It's such a beautiful space to relax and enjoy. I found that there was no wait time, even on a weekday, and it is recommended to make a reservation. I look forward to experiencing this place in a different season.”
